A sustainable business

At Nordic Sugar we see a commitment to sustainability and sound bottom line results as two side of the same coin. Whether we are dealing with climate change, supplier management or our products, we consider our sustainability efforts as an opportunity to enhance and ensure the future of our business.

The priorities for our sustainability work connect intimately with our business strategy. Our key objectives are to develop our business, include our stakeholders’ views and expectations in our decision processes and, not least, to prevent and reduce all relevant risks.

We comply with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact on human rights, health and safety at work, environment and anti-corruption and we expect the same of all our partners. We run our business in compliance with the Corporate Social Responsibility Code (CSR/Code of Conduct) of the European sugar industry.
